The CIS ATC’s delegation led by the First Deputy Head of the Center Zhanat Saipoldaev took part in the meeting of heads of educational organizations of the competent authorities of the CIS member states, held under the auspices of the Basic Organization of the CIS Member States for Training Personnel in the Sphere of Countering Terrorism and Extremism in Moscow on June 11, 2025.
The event organized on the sidelines of the 18th Meeting of the Heads of the CIS Competent Authorities Lead Units in Charge of Countering Terrorism and the Heads of the CIS National Structures in Charge of Coordination of Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Extremism Activities, was attended by the heads of agencies’ universities of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Secretary of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member-States, the executives of the Basic Organization of the CIS Member States for studying the problems of countering terrorism and other manifestations of extremism, and the official representative of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation. The meeting approved a draft Comprehensive Program for Professional Education and Personnel Development in the Sphere of Combating Terrorism and Extremism for 2026–2028, reviewed lists of implemented and promising areas of study, as well as issues of further development of interstate cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere.
