Deputy Head of the CIS ATC Sergey Zubkov took part in the international conference on "Combating International Terrorism: Russia's Approaches and Contribution", organized by the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies on July 17, 2025.
The event brought together representatives of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Council of Commanders of the Border Troops, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, embassies and expert communities from the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of India, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People's Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan.
The conference offered an opportunity to exchange views on the problems of countering modern terrorist threats, as well as international cooperation in this area.
The Center’s Deputy Head informed the participants about the main terrorist and extremist threats in the CIS, noting the most significant results of anti-terrorist cooperation.
