Representatives of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center took part in the expert group meeting on the draft CIS Program of Cooperation in Combating Terrorism and Extremism for 2026–2028, draft respected decisions of the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of Heads of CIS States, which was held on April 2, 2025.
The event was attended by experts from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member-States, the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, the basic organization of the CIS member-states for the study of problems of countering terrorism and other manifestations of extremism, the basic organization of the CIS member-states for training personnel in the field of countering terrorism and extremism, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee.
The meeting was chaired by the CIS ATC.
The participants discussed the received comments and proposals, finalized and agreed on the draft Program of Cooperation and decisions of the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of Heads of CIS States.
