CIS ATC participates in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member-states

 

The CIS ATC’s delegation led by its Head Evgeny Sysoev took part in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member-states held in St. Petersburg on August 12, 2025.

The event was attended by delegations of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the CIS Executive Committee, the Bureau for the Coordination of Fight against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes in the Territory of the CIS Member-States (BKBOP), and the CIS ATC.

The meeting participants discussed burning issues of combating crime in the Commonwealth, as well as increase of efficiency of cooperation between law enforcement agencies, including joint counteraction to destructive elements that destabilize the socio-political situation in the CIS countries.

The CIS ATC’s Head informed the members of the Council about the situation and the results of work in countering terrorism and extremism in 2024 and the first half of 2025, noting the significant contribution of the internal affairs agencies to their achievement, as well as the well-coordinated interaction between the CIS ATC, the Council and BKBOP.
