The CIS ATC’s representative took part in the CIS inter-MFA consultations "On countering new challenges and threats".
The event brought together representatives of the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan (in observer capacity), Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as CIS bodies - the Executive Committee, the Secretariat of the Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units and the Anti-Terrorism Center.
The security situation in the Commonwealth countries and its development trends was reviewed at the consultations. The participants exchanged views on cooperation in countering terrorism, radicalization, money laundering, financing of terrorism, and drugs.
The Center’s representative presented a report on terrorist threats in the CIS area and the status of the Center's anti-terrorist cooperation with relevant international organizations.
