The CIS ATC’s delegation led by the Center’s Head Evgeny Sysoev took part in the meeting of deputy Prosecutor Generals of the CIS member-states in charge of international legal cooperation, held at the Russian State Social University, Moscow on August 27, 2025.
The event was attended by deputy Prosecutor Generals of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, CSTO Secretary General, Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration for Foreign Policy, Rector of the Russian State Social University, executives of the working bodies of the Coordination Council of Prosecutor Generals, Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units, Council of Ministers of Defense of the CIS member-states, Council of the Border Troops Commanders.
The participants discussed burning issues of security provision in the Commonwealth and interaction between the prosecution authorities, law enforcement and special services, as well as new approaches to organizing the activities and development prospects of the Secretariat of the Coordination Council of Prosecutor Generals of the CIS Member-States (CCPG).
The Center’s Head informed the meeting on the state of countering terrorism and extremism in the Commonwealth countries and noted the contribution of the CCPG to assisting the Commonwealth states in interstate search for perpetrators of terrorist and extremist crimes.
