The results of the V International Contest of Student Initiatives in countering the ideology of terrorism "Student Shield - 2025”, organized by the Moscow State Linguistic University and Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS Member-States with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, were summed up on June 6, 2025.
In his welcoming speech, the First Deputy Head of the CIS ATC Zhanat Saipoldayev noted that amid the continued threat of spread of terrorist ideas in the information space, it is the youth - a powerful creative force of our society - who plays an important role in countering the spread of the ideology of terrorism and extremism. Therefore, counter-propaganda materials prepared by young people are of particular value.
The contest brought together 252 students and pupils of secondary educational institutions from eight countries, including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
160 works in the nominations "Best video", "Best literary work", "Best information visual material", "Best preventive event" were reviewed by the jury.
